Bottom line...
After submitting all receipts for the mower and mowing Kenneth never returned a call or email. I never received a final receipt and one of the ladies who works Mid Tenn Fencing, perhaps his wife or girlfriend hung up on me when inquiring about my refund for my expenses. She stated Kenneth had attempted to contact me by email and phone though phone and email records quickly reveal this untruthful statement. Another female at the office stated she knew nothing when my wife called. The lack of communication from Mid Tenn Fencing, much less a lack of a receipt for the final payment is unprofessional but perhaps to be expected from such a business.
Your work is awesome. Thank you for doing such a wonderful job!
I contracted Mid Tenn Fencing to install a fence for my new dog at my home in Nolensville. They were more expensive than the other two companies quotes but I went with Kenneth. I paid half up front and it took them longer to start than they stated originally. The crew that showed up did not even know where the gates that I was getting were to be installed so they ended up moving one of the gates. It took two days to install which is what they had said. Overall the fence looks ok. There are a couple bent ornate pieces and they left too much of a gap under the fence in several places. None of the gates line up and there is a crooked section. The crew also moved the last corner to ease their build and moved the fence onto my neighbors property for @ 6 ft. I think any fencing company could have done as good, probably for less money and more professional companies would have been less messy. Concrete, gravel and dirt at every post hole spread out and excess just dumped where ever they chose. A simple tarp could have kept my yard much neater. A simple tarp.
We had fence repaired at our family Cemetry. Very reasonable prices and a job well done. Would highly recommend.
Kenneth of Mid Tenn Fencing told me to get it fixed and he would pay for the repair. The problem is that it would have cost more to fix than a new mower and the Authorized Honda repair shop stated they do not fix mowers in this condition. I had the Authorized Honda repair place write Kenneth that they recommended replacement. I bought a new mower from them and was actually able to get it for 50 $ less. I also had someone mowing my yard for the three weeks I was trying to get all of this paper trail for Kenneth of Mid Tenn Fencing.
Find another fencing company, get their bond and insurance information before signing anything and DOUBLECHECK everything! Be sure they don't leave a potentially lethal scrap of fencing in your yard that could maim or kill a loved one. They are very lucky no one was hurt.
Mid Tenn Fencing was eager to get paid but Kenneth did not stand up to his word in regards to the mower. It is being taken care of though.
My fence is not the best and not the worst. Not sure they are bonded or insured but I am in the discovery phase. I will contact their bonder and insurer once I get that information.
Overall the fence looks fine. But just because you get a cheaper quote that does not mean better. We had a fence put in last fall. They parked their work truck in my driveway and it leaked oil all over the place. Then again all over the street when they came back. There was trash left all over the place behind the fence and not cleaned up. One of the gates was installed so that it opened outward. Not a very smart choice when our air conditioning unit sits right in front of it. We didn't even want to call them back because we didn't want them leaking oil all over our street again. There were nails coming out of boards everywhere, which my husband finally asked if they would cut them back for aesthetic reason and plus it was dangerous. Our evergreen trees were hacked up pretty badly. They ripped of branches and threw them behind the fence. They was no consideration for our driveway, the way the left gate was installed and the way our trees were handled. Bottom line, they did bare minimum to get the job done and nothing more than that.
The real clincher comes when my son hits a metal rod in the yard left by the crew with my honda push mower. My great Honda pushmower that started on the first pull. Dead mower but thank God my son was not crippled by a flying metal rod. I tried to fix the mower but after hours of messing with it I realized I need professional help.
Got an estimate in March said would fix it in 5 weeks. It's now November and nothing done. All they did was give me the run-around. Torri Brien and others will tell u they will take care of it but they don't. Would tell anyone to go elsewhere
